Area arrests

• Jaime Espino Hernandez, 56, 1414 Liberty Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with being a habitual violator.

• Michael Eugene Lurz, 25, 161 Third Ave. Extension, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and forgery in the first degree.

• Danielle Ladonna Norrell, 32, 115 Yakima Way-A, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with a felony probation violation.

• Santos Raul Parada-Banos, 37, 63 Monte Brook, Ringgold, was charged Saturday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI.

• Cristian A. Chavez, 20, 208 South Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor, failure to stop at a stop sign and improper left turn.

• Sergio Fraire-Espino, 21, 2737 Dot Crescent St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Steven Terrence Harden, 37, 137 Commonwealth Way-9, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Harold Lamar Hudgins, 47, 595 Smyrna Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.

• Adan Lara-Estrada, 26, 1111 Lakemont Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence), aggravated assault, felony failure to appear and cruelty to children in the second degree.

• Jerimiah Nathaniel Morris, 20, 2756 Chattanooga Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery, terroristic threats and acts, misdemeanor shoplifting, disorderly conduct and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

• Anna Elizabeth Qualls, 23, 49 Sarah Lynn Lane, Fort Oglethorpe, was charged Sunday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI and speeding.

• Obed Perez, 19, 1660 Stinnett Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, driving without a valid license, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

• Lisa Lynette Scott, 29, 617 N. Seventh Ave.,-1, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and following too closely.
