Area arrests

• April Denise Keener, 42, 299 Keener Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Eton Police Department with DUI and making an improper turn.

• Wanda Faye Parada, 57, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime (burglary).

• Billy Joe Ash, 38, 493 Smyrna Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Eton Police Department with driving while license suspended or revoked, open container in vehicle, DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Jeremy Joe Hix, 32, 85 Rogers Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with obstruction of an officer, driving while unlicensed, improper backing, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, DUI (drugs, less safe) and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Tony Lynnville House, 36, 275 Grassy Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Myra Janene Howard, 48, 3151 Chattanooga Road, Rocky Face, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with being a fugitive from justice.

• Ricky Lamar Mitchell, 56, 2918 Old Grade Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Julisa Denise Reyes, 23, 4208 Spring Valley Road, Cohutta, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, DUI-endangering a child, failure to maintain lane and no license on person.

• Bonnie Lynn Tilley, 29, 1312-B Haley Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession of tools for the commission of a crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).
