Area arrests

• Chad Lee Williams, 25, 812 Johnson Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery and cruelty to a child in the third degree.

• Johnny Dale Crisp, 32, 672 Jackson Lake Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Richard Anthony Miller, 52, 1090 Franklin Hill Road, Rocky Face, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.
