Area arrests

• Anthony Eugene Bright, 56, 309 Downing St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession to distribute schedule 3/4/5 drugs.

• Gerardo Manuel Gonzalez, 31, 102 Burr Hickory Road 333, Cartersville, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

• James Lee Morgan, 36, 2858 Old Grade Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with use of communications facilities in drug transactions and conspiracy to commit a felony.

• Dzanan Johnny Mandzo, 17, 220 Grassdale Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threat and acts.

• Jamie Bryan Steelman, 36, 312 Red Cut Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Eton Police Department with possession of meth, drugs not in original container and parole violation.

• Jarod Michael Green, 31, 22 W. Ontario St. 3, Chattanooga, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession of tools for commission of crime.

• Raymond Curtis Love, 34, 1110 Underwood St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with sale or intent to sell marijuana.

• Josie Francis Nichols, 41, 374 Morton Drive, Ringgold, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession to distribute meth, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Jenna Rebecca Shelton, 39, 400 Gallery Lane E8, Hixon, Tenn., was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of crime.
