Area arrests

• Daisy Rose Marie Groh, 27, 3762 Chattanooga Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with felony failure to appear.

• Isaias Perez Murrillo, 55, 404 Paige St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery and cruelty to a child.

• Tresha Irene Rhorer, 35, 1018 N. 10th Ave., Great Falls, Mich., was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and an open container violation.

• Gabriel Eyner Vasquez, 23, 100 Van Buren Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of sexual battery (first offense), reckless conduct and giving a false name/address/date of birth to a law officer.

• Jeremy Lance Benton, 33, 136 Pinewood Drive, Rock Springs, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and following too closely.
