Area arrests

• Tammy Annett Abernathy, 42, 69 Cagle Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by receiving stolen property.

• Rogelio Barroso Aviles, 40, 396 Old Free Hope Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with being a fugitive from justice.

• Margaret Renee Black, 54, 401 Brooker Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 1 or 2 drug and use of communication facilities in drug transactions.

• Emily Dianne Bramblett, 27, 4156 Ga. Highway 225 N., Lot 35, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Alex Lee Farner, 22, 4156 Ga. Highway 225 N., Lot 35, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of methamphetamine, burglary and two counts of theft by taking.

• Hubert Harman, 22, 8700 Planet Drive, Cincinnati, was charged Tuesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, willful obstruction of law officers and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony.

• James Terry Jackson, 57, Ga. Highway 286-870B, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and criminal trespass.

• Mark Anthony Love, 23, 816 Shugart Road-A8, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle without a proper tag or decal and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Jackie Rhodes Jr., 45, 627 Oxford St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery.
