Area arrests

— • Emory Zane Bailey, 24, 400 Sam Love Road, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with sale or intent to sell marijuana.

• Reed Cochran, 73, 1911 Antioch Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts.

• Daniel Park, 19, 82 College Circle, Dahlonega, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and speeding.

• James A. Wilkins, 52, 466 Haig Mill Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain lane and open container of alcohol.

• Jason Cory Brock, 34, 4048 Highway 41, Resaca, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by deception, DUI, a headlight violation and destruction or transferring property subject to security interest.

• Buddy Alan Bunch, 35, 1629 Cherokee Valley Road, Ringgold, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with a felony theft by taking.

• Rachael Michelle Gibson, 24, 1044 Midway Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Gary Tyler Mallett, 18, 32309 Field Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.

• Hector Mejias-Cade, 22, 3211 Highway 41, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane and a violation of license classification.

• Kenneth Richard Morgan, 25, 357 Downing St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

• Miguel Pascual, 26, no address given, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane, driving without a valid license and open container of alcohol.

• Carol Maria Simmons, 29, 476 Kirby Young Road S.E., Lot U, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear and giving false information.

• Elmer Francisco Solis-Ponce, 20, 1212 Foster St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to maintain lane.

• Carisa Lee Taylor, 35, 1702 Underwood St., No. 4, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, giving false information, failure to obey traffic control devices and open container of alcohol.

• Starsha Wheeler, 20, 1217 Green Springs Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.
