Area arrests

— • Jeannie Ivette Anderson, 31, 2315 Abutment Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of cocaine.

• Armando Guzman, 35, 6 Francis Drive, Rome, Ga., was placed on hold Monday by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Donald Dewayne Hammett, 43, 1313 May St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• McKinley Ray Jordan, 53, 263 Jericho Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault-other weapon and battery-family violence (first offense).

• Juan Carlos Melgar-Castillo, 47, 608 Cherokee Trail, Dalton, was placed on hold Monday by ICE.

• Amber Nicole Parker, 25, 34 Torino Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking-larceny.

• Amber Nicole Parker, 25, 34 Torino Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of oxycodone, not keeping drugs in original container and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jeremy Ryan Parker, 31, 1279 Highway 411 S., Room 111, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of a oxycodone, not keeping drugs in original container and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Michael Markay Caldwell, 25, 308 Page St. No. 4, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of methamphetamine.
