Area arrests

• David Fred Ankar, 38, 7710 Wimberly Drive, Chattanooga, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane and an open container violation.

• Charles Madison Champion, 45, 4177 Brown Bridge Road-P, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, willful obstruction of law officers and probation violation.

• Joshua Shannon Clark, 21, 4357 Cohutta Varnell Road, Cohutta, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary and theft by deception.

• Casey Elijah Henson, 24, 1439 Piedmont Drive N.E., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and by state probation with probation violation.

• Kevin Wayne Martin, 28, 813 Willie Road-12, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act) and by state parole with a parole violation.

• Telina Elizabeth Wasserman, 40, 5367 Old Federal Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 1 hallucinogen and possession of tools for the commission of crime (burglary).
