Area arrests

• Justin Lamar Chambers, 19, 1852 Treadwell Road, Apt. A, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and failure to appear.

• Johnny Lewis Lynch Jr., 43, 2411 Highway 2 West, Crandall, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to drive within a single lane and open container violation.

• Charles Miguel Najera, 38, 504 Brand Drive, Resaca, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license, following too closely, driving too fast for conditions, open container violation and operating a motor vehicle with suspended, canceled or revoked registration.

• Johnny Ray Parsons Jr., 22, 981 Cavender Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with interference with government property, two counts of failure to appear (misdemeanor and felony) and willful obstruction of law officers.

• David Lee Keith Baggett, 35, 4177 Brown Bridge Road - U, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of hydrocodone.

• Danny Dewayne Hall, 26, 484 Peden Road, Crandall, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine.

• Mario Rigoberto Rodriguez-Zuniga, 41, 157 Riverview Road, Calhoun, was placed on hold Monday at the Whitfield County jail by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
