Letter: A road solution

DALTON —

I am not a rocket scientist nor an engineer, yet I have come up with a very simple solution for a bypass for the Highway 225 and the Alternate Highway 52 congestion. And I wasn’t paid $750,000 to do it, nor have I been influenced by any landowners along the way.

The solution is simple. Build a divided highway connecting Highway 282 and old Highway 411, and go west by slightly Northwest next to the Dalton Airport until connecting with the South Bypass, then cutting through with the divided highway until connecting with Walnut Avenue. How hard is this to figure out?

These politicians that are spending all this money for these studies that have gone nowhere could send me a few bucks for my two cents worth, because this is the most efficient way to build a road. There are only a couple or maybe three bridges to build, and the traffic problem will be alleviated for years to come.
