I agree with Nicky Starling, but these security people must have the guts to pull the trigger and shoot somebody when it becomes necessary.
Now if this is really about protecting our children, and not about just control, the answer is very simple. Build a chain link fence around all schools, topped with razor wire, put guards on all the gates, and let no one in unless he belongs there. Not near as expensive or as complicated as all this gun control business, which won’t work, by any stretch of the imagination.
