William Chris Morgan

Mr. William Chris Morgan, 47, of Dalton, departed this life Friday morning, Feb. 5, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Chris was born March 5, 1962, in Whitfield County, a son of Charles W. Morgan and Peggy Morgan Robinson. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

He is also survived by his fiancée, Donna Green of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Michael Morgan of Dalton and Jeffery Lamar and Pamela Morgan of Chatsworth; stepbrothers, Eddie Nicholson of Florida, Randy Nicholson of Marietta; stepsisters, Tammy Wheat of Dalton and Crystal Ferrick of Chatsworth; nieces and a nephew-in-law, Amy and Ken Brown of Chattanooga and Elizabeth Morgan; great-niece and great-nephew, Jade and Gage Brown of Chattanooga; grandmother, Geneva Patterson McCutchen of Chatsworth; numerous aunts and uncles; a stepmother, Wanda Morgan and stepfather, Paul Anderson Robinson.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. William Chris Morgan are today at 2 p.m. in the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. T.E. Flowers officiating. He will be laid to rest at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m.
