Mr. Tony Ragan, 57, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.
He was a graduate of Dalton High School and was owner of the Jewelry Connection. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Ragan.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Melva Dixon Ragan of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Dylan and Laura Ragan of Atlanta; daughter, Sky Ragan of Dalton; granddaughter, Natalie Ragan of Atlanta; parents, Steed “Blackie” and Irene Ragan of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Marlene Ragan of Dalton, Michael and Mary Ragan of Summerville, S.C.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and the Rev. George Ross officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation, 3525 Piedmont Road, N.E., Building 6, Suite 300, Atlanta, Ga. 30305.
