Mrs. Willene Wimpey Flood, 73, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Ora Wimpey and was preceded in death by her husband, John Flood and a sister, Jimmie Sue Hegwood.
Willene was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Theda and Dennis L. Broome of Tunnel Hill and Audrey and Billy Mercer of Dalton; grandchildren, Daniel L. Broome, Candace West and Kathy Mercer; great-grandchildren, Tyler West, Will West and Mason West; niece and nephews, Lamar Hegwood, Wanda Hegwood and Doug Hegwood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Southerland and the Rev. J. R. Holcomb officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
