Lois Ryals Bennett

Mrs. Lois Ryals Bennett, of Rocky Face, surrendered her spirit to the Lord on Dec. 31, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Bennett; her parents; the loving grandparents who raised her; brothers, Lee and Leon Ryals; and a special aunt, Marie Atkins Moore.

Surviving to celebrate her memory are a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Eric Robertson of Sterling, Va.; her granddaughter, Lara Robertson of Powhatan, Va.; great grandchildren, Kyrstin, Kellyann, and Christopher; a niece and nephews in south Georgia; neighbors in Rocky Face; and an extended family of friends from more than 50 years of service at Lawtex and Springs Industries.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Lois Bennett will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Beavers officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. A White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m.
