L.B. ‘Leonard’ Holcombe

Mr. L.B. ‘Leonard’ Holcombe, 78, of Alpharetta, GA. and formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming.

He was the son of the late Bob and Ollie Holcombe of Chatsworth and was preceded in death by his infant son, Eric Holcombe in 1964 and his sister, Aldean Breeden of Birmingham, Ala.

L.B. is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Holcombe of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jeaney Baker of Acworth; grandchildren, Emily and Eddie Earley, Jacob and Bridget Baker; brothers, Macky Holcombe, Jack Holcombe, Donald Holcombe and Freddie Holcombe; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev Charles Peck officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 4 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to John’s Creek United Methodist Church Building Fund at 11180 Medlock Bridge Road, John’s Creek, Ga., 30097.
