Edward Earl Brown
Mr. Edward Earl Brown, 83, of Dalton, passed away peacefully at a local nursing home on Dec. 13, 2009. He was born in White Cloud, Kan., on March 2, 1926.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lorean K. Nowell Brown. Mr. Brown was a Navy WWII veteran.
He is survived by his friend who Mr. Brown considered to be his adopted grandson, Chris Stokes, and his wife, Angela Stokes.
Services to celebrate the life of Edward will be held today at noon at Ponders Funeral Home Melrose Chapel with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Mr. Brown will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to his funeral service at Ponders Funeral Home Melrose Chapel.
