Opal Christine Watters

Mrs. Opal Christine Watters, 83, of 910 Plainville Road, Plainville, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Hamilton Medical Center, Dalton, following an extended illness.

Servcies are Monday at 1 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Carson Jr. and Michael Watters officiating. I

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Rome. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Wright Memorial Chapel. At other hours they may contacted at the residence, 910 Plainville Road.

Those left to cherish her memories are five sons: Glenn (Effie), Rome, John (Anna), Omaha, Neb., Stephen (Valerie), Dalton, Gary (Jackie), Michael (Michelle) both of Rome; step-daughter, Mary (Charlie) Bryant, Adairsville; sister, Arlivia Reynolds; sister-in-law, Juanita Hudson, both of Rome; brother-in-law, Melvin Watters, Plainville; 13 grandchildren; three great-grand children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wright Memorial Mortuary Inc., of Rome is in charge of arrangements for the family of Mrs. Opal Chirstine Watters.
