Evelyn Davis Rollins Elrod

Mrs. Evelyn Davis Rollins Elrod, 85 of Dalton, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Ray and Beatrice Ogletree Davis. She was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church and a member of the Lions Auxiliary.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Richard G. Garrett of Dalton; sister, Glennice Manakee of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Grayson Garrett and Mallory Garrett; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon and the Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating.

Burial will be in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the America Heart Association, 519 E. Fourth St., Chattanooga, TN 37403.

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center), is in charge of arrangements.
