Polly Perkins

Mrs. Polly Perkins, 91, of Dalton, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Jessie Roberts Childers and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Foster Perkins, in 2002.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

Polly is survived by her brother, Marvin Childers of Chatsworth; sisters, Kathryn Cochran of Dalton and Bill McCamy of Chatsworth; special niece, Judy Blanchard of Dalton and other special nieces and nephews.

Services are Wednesday at 3 p.m. from East Side Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Jones and the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the sanctuary of the church Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the East Side Baptist Church, P.O. 734, Dalton, GA 30722 or to Eton Baptist Church, Eton, GA 30724.
