Ora Mae Chadwick



Mrs. Ora Mae Chadwick, 85, of Dalton, departed this life Saturday morning, Dec. 5, 2009, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Ora Mae was born May 22, 1924, in Dawson County, a daughter of the late Virgil and Nettie Anderson Bearden.

She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James Dwight and Deborah Chadwick of Tunnel Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Gary Brown of Dalton; grandchildren, Christian Chadwick, Justin Brown and Jordan Brown; great-grandchild, Saila Chadwick.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ora Mae Chadwick are Monday at 10 a.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Green officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Calvary Assembly of God.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m today.
