Charles E. Rollins



Mr. Charles E. Rollins, 57, of Rossville, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Erlanger Medical Center.

He was the son of the late James and Daisy Posey Rollins and was preceded in death by his brothers, Harrel Rollins, Bobby Rollins and Harley Rollins; and mother-in-law, Betty Whisenant.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Connie Whisenant Rollins of Rossville; children, Dewayne Rollins of Rossville, Tim Rollins of Chickamauga, Nita Toney of Rossville and Kiley Rollins of Rossville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roseanne Walden of Cordova, Ala., Mary and Gene Foster of Rossville, Sylvia and John Dibb of Social Circle, Frances and Ed Sills, Lisa and Martin Rawlston, all of Rossville; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jane Rollins of Pisgah, Ala., Howard Rollins of Rossville, Lebron and Angel Rollins of LaFayette; grandchildren, Michael Toney, Tiffany Toney, Nicholas Rollins; father-in-law, Calvin Whisenant of Dalton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Betty Stinson of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Services are Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gardner officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today after 4 p.m.
