Timothy Hunter Quinton

Mr. Timothy Hunter Quinton, 16, of Dalton, departed this life Sunday morning, Nov. 22, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Hunter was born Sept. 1, 1993, in Dalton. He was a student at Northwest High School and attended Whitfield Career Academy. Hunter was a member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church. Hunter loved basketball, tae-kwon-do, to deer hunt, the outdoors and helping his grandfather at the car lot.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Mosley; great-grandparents, Harrison and Ethie Dean, Lloyd and Betty Brindle and Dorothy and Aud Franks.

He is survived by his parents, Burt and Krista Quinton; sister, Audrey Anne Quinton; brother, Justin Michael Quinton; grandparents, Allen and Charlene Headrick, Tim and Frances Quinton, Lynda Brindle; great-grandmother, Lois Headrick; aunts and uncles, Patrick and Crystal Griggs, Aunt Manda and Roland Cantrell, Deron Pack, Charlie and Sonya Clark, Kim and Tony Duncan, Karen and Russell Horn, Charlene and Jeff Horn; special great-aunt and uncle, Mary Lou and Tracy Dickson; several cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Hunter Quinton are Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Guffey and the Rev. Eric Jenkins officiating.

He will be laid to rest at the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Bryson Warnix, Hunter Guinn, Ethan Ogle, Coleman Jenkins, John Brooker and Levi Sams serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Eleventh Baptist Church from 5 until 9 p.m. today.
