Charles Edward McGill



Mr. Charles Edward McGill, 52, of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at his residence. He was a member of the Ridge Road Baptist Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Arcil Sue Ponders McGill; his father, Emmitt McGill; brothers, David McGill and Bobby McGill; and a sister, Betty Sue McGill.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany McGill Shelton and Billy Shelton of Chatsworth; his mother, Earthie McGill of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Carla McGill, Jerry and Janice McGill, all of Chatsworth; sister-in-law, Teresa McGill; grandchildren, Dylan Shelton, Madison Shelton, April Randolph and Andrew Beavers.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Gentry Jr., the Rev. Jeremiah Quarles and the Rev. Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in Dewberry Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, after 5 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
