John W. Everett

Mr. John W. Everett, 74, of Dalton departed this life Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Chatsworth Health Care Center.

Mr. Everett was born April 3, 1935, in Gordon County.

Mr. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lula Everett; two brothers, Tom and Hoke Everett.

Mr. Everett is survived by his son, John W. Everett Jr. of Dalton; daughters, Janice and Cindy of Chatsworth; sister, Elizabeth Wilson of Marietta; niece, Anita McDaniel of Atlanta.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. John W. Everett are Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Melrose Drive Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Wilson officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Garden Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
