Freda Collins Lassiter

Mrs. Freda Collins Lassiter, 71, of Rocky Face, passed away Sunday Nov., 15, 2009, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Billie Freeman Collins and was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lassiter.

She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.

Freda is survived by her son, Greg Lassiter of Rocky Face; brother, Freeman Collins of Rocky Face; sister. Glenda Collins Black of Atlanta; nieces and nephews and her beloved pet, Peggy Sue.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Owen Skinner officiating.

Burial will be in Dunagan Cemetery.

The family received friends on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 597 LaFayette Road, Rocky Face, GA 30740.

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center), is in charge of arrangements.
