James Marion (J.M) Roach



James Marion (J.M) Roach, 81, of Rocky Face, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Della Roach.

Mr. Roach was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Debra Roach, and Mark Roach, all of Rocky Face, Ken and Chris Roach of Gaylesville, Ala., and Wayne and Janice Roach of Hixson, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Dell and J.W. Collins of Rocky Face; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Monday at 11 a.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Brinkley officiating.

Burial will be at Rocky Face Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 3 until 7 p.m.
