Norma Nancy Duckett
Mrs. Norma Nancy Duckett, 93, of Stuart, Fla., died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Martin Memorial Hospital South in Stuart.
Born in Talladega, Ala., she has lived in Stuart the past 23 years before coming from Dalton.
Before retiring, she worked at Hamilton Memorial Hospital for more than 10 years and was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Port Salerno, Fla. and the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Duckett, in 2003.
Survivors include her daughters, Paulette Barnes of Stuart and Deborah Weatherford of Rossville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews.
Services are Saturday at noon in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Mr. Kenneth Pitts officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon.
The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Hospice of their choice.
