Marion ‘Nub’ Patterson

Mr. Marion “Nub” Patterson, 51, of Cisco, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, in Hamilton Medical Center.

Nub was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Patterson, and a brother, Dewight “Teto” Patterson.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Patterson; sons and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Penny Patterson, and Matthew Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Gary Pendland; grandchildren, Devon Smith, Ashley and Makayla Patterson, all of Cisco; mother, Elizabeth Patterson of Cisco; sister, Clydetta Locke of Copperhill, Tenn.; brothers, Phil Patterson of Cisco, and Clifton Patterson of Copperhill, Tenn.; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Smith, Frank Loyd, and the Rev. Clifton Patterson officiating.

Burial will be in Tumbling Creek Cemetery in Copperhill, Tenn. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday after noon until the funeral hour on Saturday. 

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
