Sharon Jaanini Pasch

Jaanini Pasch, 57, recently of Cleveland, Tenn., and formerly of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

Sharon was born July 9, 1951, in Chattanooga. She attended Georgia-Cumberland Academy and Southern Adventist University. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Collegedale communities.

Starting with her days at the academy, her sense of humor, loyalty, and upbeat personality attracted lifelong friends from all walks of life. Her love for life was the rock all of her friends and family leaned on through the good times and as well as the bad times. Her devotion to her friends and family and her strong spirit lifted up everyone around her. She has left a void in the lives of her friends and family, yet she leaves behind many cherished memories.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Alex Jaanini.

She is survived by her husband, Herb Pasch; father, Jerry McClellan and stepmother Wanda; mother Gail Schrader; son Robin Jaanini and daughter-in-law Cristina; daughter, Jennifer Heaton and son-in-law Joe; son Zack Jaanini; father of her children Michael Jaanini; granddaughters Victoria, Michelle, Madeline, Britney and Emily Jaanini; grandson, Maddox Heaton; stepbrothers David and Randy Searles; stepsister Tina Parks; and all of the other members of the McClellan and Jaanini families.

A memorial service is at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists officiated by Pastor Jim Herman and Randy Harr. The family requests that anyone wishing to contribute in Sharon’s memory may do so by making donations to the Sharon Jaanini Pasch Memorial Fund at any Regions Bank.
