Lloyd S. Cantrell

Lloyd S. Cantrell, age 78, of the Beaverdale Community, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Lemma Cantrell; one sister, Oval Ketchem; one brother, Autrie Cantrell.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Leon Crowder of Dalton; two sons, James Cantrell of Salt Lake City, Utah and Bruce Cantrell of Dalton; sisters, Bessie Selvidge, Lucille Ogle and Faye Wilkins, all of Dalton; brother, Elvin Nesbert Cantrell of Dalton; special friends, Martha Smith of Tunnel Hill, Dorrie Holder of Dalton and Oscar Miller of Cohutta; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Little Prospect Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 until 8 p.m.
