Scott Dewayne Beavers

Mr. Scott Dewayne Beavers, 38, of Dalton, departed this life early Thursday morning, Aug. 6, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Beavers was born in Whitfield County Aug. 11, 1969. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe and Mary Lou Cudd.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sharon Beavers; son, Caleb Beavers; daughters, Chastidy Beavers, Charity Beavers, Caylin Beaverrs and Cristin Beavers, all of Dalton; father, Grady James Beavers of Chatsworth; mother, Martha Cromer; brothers and sister-in-law, Wesley and Samantha Beavers, James and Tammy Martin, Kevin and Maria Martin and Brian Martin, all of Dalton and Jennifer Medlin of Cohutta; cousin, Robin Renee McGaugh; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathleen and Virgil Ballew, all of Dalton.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Beavers are today at noon in the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Jack Pendergrass officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley Beavers, James Martin, Eddy Bishop, Josh Bishop, Wayne Williams and David Wellborn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 11 a.m. to noon.
