Billy Claude Williams

Mr. Billy Claude WIlliams, 62, of Ringgold, departed this life on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Williams was born in Whitfield County, a son of the late Lloyd and Hortence Blaylock Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Billy Lamar and Towana Williams of Cohutta, Billy Macklin Williams of Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Penny Rodriguez of Chatsworth, Beverly and Juan Rangel of Dalton, Candice Williams of Texas; brother, Rocky Williams of Chatsworth; sister, Wanda Sims of Dalton; special friends Linda Ingle of Rossville, Charlie and Frankie Whitmire of Ringgold; nine grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Billy Williams are Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Crinan officiating. He will be laid to rest at Anderson Cemetery with his special friends Terry Ingle, Jimmy Gray, Lee Gray, Scott Whitmire, Ike Braley and Danny Hollifield serving as pallbearers.

The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday after 5 p.m.
