Helen Virginia Stinson Roberts

Mrs. Helen Virginia Stinson Roberts, 82, of Dalton, died July 2, 2008 in the loving comfort of her son and daughter and friend.

Helen was born and grew up in the Waring Community of Whitfield County where she attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church as a child. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Mary Long Stinson; father, James Benjamin Stinson; and dear son, Kenneth Lamar Roberts.

Helen is survived by her son, Steve Roberts; daughter, Barbara and son-in-law, Joe Parker.

A graveside memorial service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held Thursday, July 10 at 6 p.m. at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church cemetery. Casual attire is requested. All family and friends are invited to attend.
