Frances Johnson

TUNNEL HILL — M. Frances Johnson, 87, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Mary Frances Johnson; brother, Joe Johnson.

She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a brother, Edwin Johnson of Tunnel Hill; nephews, Larry and wife Sharon Johnson of Tunnel Hill, Joseph and David Johnson, both of New Mexico; great-nieces and nephews, Monica and Mike Royval, Candace Johnson, Chris and Natalie Johnson; very special friend, Jennifer Lowery.

A graveside service to honor the life of Frances Johnson will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. Owen Skinner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
