DALTON — Mr. Mark A. Beeler, 61, of Dalton, formerly of Massieville, Ohio, died March 11, 2010, in his home following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born Aug. 30, 1948, in Chillicothe, to the late Frank E. and Juanita Browning Beeler. On March 17, 1973, he married the former Marie A. Dotson, who preceded him in death Dec. 20, 2006.

Surviving are daughter Larita Tallent and her companion Charles Burk of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Troy Hamlin, of Bainbridge, Ohio; son, Michael Beeler of Cleveland, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Mischelle Beeler, Pomeroy, Ore.; grandchildren, Destiny and Shanna Hamlin, Chase and Cameron Tallent, Skyla Beeler, Gunner Beeler, Gabriella and Aerial Beeler; a great-grandson, Logan Hamlin; his sister, Tonda, of Florida; numerous in-laws including his father-in-law and mother-in-law Marlyn and Rebecca Dotson of Bainbridge, Ohio.

Mark worked for Collins & Aikman Floorcovering for over 10 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army and he enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Cooper officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home.
