Dorothy Pacheco

Dorothy Pacheco, 79, of Rocky Face, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Howard and Annie Scogin; daughter, Susan Pacheco Boatner; brother, Doyle Scogin; and sister, May Francis Lamke.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Pacheco; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Clayton Collins; sons and daughters-in-law, Brother Victor and Margaret Pacheco, Brother Alan and Rena’ Pacheco, Ted and Carol Pacheco, and Greg Pacheco; brothers and sister-in-law, William Jr. and Virginia Scogin, and Tom Scogin; sister, Faye Canupe; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from Dogwood Baptist Church with Pastor Roy Gentry and Dr. James W. Sprayberry officiating.

Burial will be in Dogwood Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
