Betty Jo Macon

Ms. Betty Jo Macon, 78, of Dalton, and formerly of Chicago, Ill., passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Quinton Memorial Health Care. She was a member of Greater St. James Overcoming Church of God.

Survivors are her loving family, Mr. James William Macon of Washington, D.C.; brother, Mr. Vollie Floyd (Lucetia) Macon of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Mrs. Janice Mays of Atlanta; devoted cousins, Mrs. Katie Ruth Love Wilkey, Mrs. Rosetta White, Mr. Gary Tyrone Love of Dalton; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will follow in Chicago with interment at Lincoln Cemetery.
