Mr. Jackie Kendall, 57 of Dalton, departed this life Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the local hospital.

 He was born May 5, 1955, in Dalton.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Kendall; stepfather, Wilburn Patterson; sister, Linda Sue Kendall.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Marlene Kendall; mother, Betty Patterson; stepson, Greg Lance; granddaughter, Hannah Lance of Resaca; brother, Randy Patterson of Calhoun; sister, Carolyn Kendall of Rocky Face.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackie Eugene Kendall will be Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. WC Pence officiating. Interment will be in Varnell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
