Edna ‘Patsy’ Ridley

 Mrs. Edna “Patsy” Ridley passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gail Ridley; parents, Thomas F. and Minnie L. Edwards; one sister, Missouri Scott; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lennie and Thurman Silvers, Lewis Freeman Ridley, Henry and Margaret Ridley, and Coleman Ridley.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, W.V. Ridley Jr.; one daughter, Cathy Ridley; one special grandchild, Grant Overby and wife Jenna; one sister, Myrtle and Wilbur Brookshire; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ada Ridley, Harlen and Lois Ridley, Randy and Carolyn Ridley, Joyce Ridley and John Findley, Lisa and Harlan Blackstock, Wilbur H. Brookshire Jr. and Bessie and Jimmy Fouts; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service for Mrs. Ridley will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. today at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
