Maebell Cruse

Mrs. Maebell Cruse, 84, of Chatsworth, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at her residence.

She was a lifelong member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cruse; sons, Gary and Doug; and a daughter, Trena Dyer.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Kathy and Jackie Burkett; grandchildren and spouses, Daphney and Eric Price, Crystal and Chris Jones, Amanda and Michael Burnette, Vanessa and Justin Sloan, Angie and Vick Alred, Maria and Rick Carter, and B.J. and Bridgette Cruse; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Eva Mae Young; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Maranatha Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Young officiating. Interment will follow in the New-Hope Kilgore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
