Lonnie Cline Pinion



Mrs. Lonnie Cline Pinion, 93, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late Lon and Betty Gazaway Cline and was preceded in death by her husband Jesse L. Pinion; brothers, Manuel Cline, Jack Cline, Roy Cline, Dan Cline and sister, Elsie Acree.

Lonnie was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church and was owner and founder, along with her husband Jesse, of Pinion Rug Co. for 62 years.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Jack Broadrick and Shirley and Maurice Daffron, all of Dalton; grandchildren, Scott and Debbie Broadrick and Gary and Trenette Patton, all of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Mayleah Broadrick, Marlee Broadrick Clemens, Mitchell Broadrick, Mariel Broadrick and Sarah Patton; great-great-grandchild, Gracelee Clemens; nieces and nephews.

The family would like say a special thanks to the staff of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home for their love and care for Lonnie.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Walker and the Dr. Byron Edens officiating.

Entombment will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 5 to 8 p.m.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to Dug Gap Baptist Church Building Fund, 2031 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, GA 30720.
