Lucille ‘Bea’ Howell

DALTON —

Lucille “Bea” Howell, 85, of Cohutta passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mrs. Howell was a member of McGaughey’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Howell; parents, Clifton and Essie Henderson; brothers, Ted and Floyd Henderson.

She is survived by a sister, Fay Williams of Fort Oglethorpe and several nieces, nephews and many special friends.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Howell will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Painter and the Rev. Rob Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the chapel service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service hour at 3 p.m.
