Cirila Segura

Mrs. Cirila Segura, 89, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday evening, Aug. 16, 2012, at the local hospital.  

She was born July 6, 1923, in El Patolito, Guanajuato, Mexico.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Estanislado Torres. She was a Roman Catholic.  

She is survived by her children, Elpidio Torres, Josafat Torres, Jose Beda Torres, Arturo Torres, Carmen Torres, Manuel Torres, Alonso Torres and Guadalupe Torres; 35 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating. Entombment will be in San Diego De La Union, Guanajuato, Mexico.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
