Miss Christa “Belle” Defore, 11, of Ringgold, departed this life on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at T.C. Thompson’s Children Hospital. Belle was born on Oct. 1, 1998, in Dalton. She was a member of FCA at the Ringgold Elementary School.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Crystal Defore; sister, Analisa Defore of Ringgold; grandparents, Zack and Cindy Hopkins of Dalton, Cheryl and Vick Hartman of Ringgold; great-grandparents, James and Wanda Bean, Fred and Gwen Hopkins of Dalton, Charles and Katherine Defore of Rocky Face, Patricia and George Elrod of Ringgold, Garrett York of Dalton.
Services to celebrate the life of Miss Christa Belle Defore will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Vaughn officiating. She will be laid to rest at the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. Saturday.
