Gilbert Allen ‘Buddy’ Handley

Mr. Gilbert Allen “Buddy” Handley, 74, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.

He was the son of the late John and Dottie Handley and was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Handley; and son, Antonio Handley.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine Handley of Dalton; sister, Betty Sims of Smithville, Tenn.; children, Angela Pelfrey of Crossville, Tenn., Anthony Handley of Rocky Face, Antressa and Kevin Aldridge of Las Vegas, Nev., Andrew and Stephanie Handley of McDonough and Anita and Albert Cintron of Douglasville; stepdaughter, Andrea Trudewind of Douglasville; grandchildren, Timothy Handley, Keyton Cintron, Kyle Cintron, Kailey Aldridge, Tabitha Handley, Mark Jones and Deborah Bilbrey; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Cochran officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 4 to 8 p.m.
