Virginia Couch

Virginia Couch, 66, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday afternoon, Feb. 2, 2012, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

Mrs. Couch was born Dec. 12, 1945, in Dalton.

She is survived by one son, Herschel Wayne Couch of  Dalton; one daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Mickey Rogers of Chatsworth, mother, Mrs. Josie Baker of Dalton; two grandchildren, Shauna Kelly of Cartersville and Brooke Bowen of Chatsworth; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Virginia Ann Couch will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until 1 p.m.

Arrangement are by locally owned and operated Ponders Funeral Homes, Melrose Chapel, Dalton; (706) 226-4002.
