Ms. Juanita Chaney Wright, 59, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of Mount Ridge Baptist Church and was employed with Prime Care Nursing Service Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. William T. Chaney and Mrs. Sally Mae Blackwell Chaney, and one sister, Mrs. Diane Chaney Grissett.
Survivors are her family, two daughters, Mrs. Keona (Anthony) Graves of Lawrenceville, Ms. Kandice Wright; ex-husband, Mr. Emanuel Wright of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Renee Bowie, Mrs. Anna Blalock, Mrs. Elfrida Banks; one brother, Mr. Michael Chaney; aunt, Mrs. Maggie Smith, Mrs. Susie Blackwell, Mrs. Catherine Blackwell, Mrs. Mary Gueno; special friend, Mr. Walter Weaver, all of Dalton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral is Monday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry D. Jones Sr., and Pastor Thomas Hall officiating. Her remains will be at the funeral home today after noon until the funeral hour on Monday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 7 p.m.
