Billy Lewis Greeson



Mr. Billy Lewis Greeson, 58, of Dalton, departed this life Friday morning, Aug. 3, 2012, in Birmingham, Ala.  

Bill was born July 22, 1954, in Dalton, a son of the late Eugene “Doc” and Ora Mae Bishop Greeson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Rolen.

Bill was a truck driver for 40 years and was employed by Cedar Creek Trucking.  

He is survived by his wife, Robbie Greeson of the residence; sons, Eric Greeson and Benjamin Greeson; granddaughters, Lulu and Katie Rolen; brothers, Donald Greeson and Clifford Greeson; sister, Doris Ogle; mother-in-law, Syble Hemphill; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Billy Lewis “Bill” Greeson will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Jenkins officiating.

He will be laid to rest at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Donnie Greeson, Bobby Ogle, Wade Hughes, J.R. Mitchell, Calvin Jones and Shaun Greeson serving as pallbearers.  

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
